Emily is an illustrator and exhibiting artist with a love for the gentle and the uncanny. Using the visual image to bring the often-lost natural world back into people's daily lives, her work is driven by a curiosity for ethology and explores the similarities and differences between man and beast. The resulting illustrations juxtapose figures, flesh and fungi to create creatures that are at once confronting to behold and devastatingly vulnerable in their innocence.
She is available for commisson and collaboration in the realm of book, editorial, commercial, and textile/apparel illustration, but also takes strong interest in animation, concept illustration, and graphic design.
Based in Melbourne, Australia.
