An assortment of sketches and drawings from my journal archives.

"Before the war started nothing worried me; everything was OK. You could remove the moon and put the house in its place. It was really beautiful." - Sara, Syria
We reach for our homes on the moon, but they are unattainable, always out of reach. Displaced, we drift in the empty space that is neither here nor there, hoping to find peace.
The complete collection and campaign can be viewed on World Vision Australia's website.
t-bar / cotton on
Three illustrations commissioned by T-bar for their artist range. Designed to a farmyard theme of blues and reds, floral motifs, and the zodiac Year of the Rooster 2017.
A sample of illustrations for The Tortoise and The Hare, The Hares and The Frogs, and The Fox and The Crow. Completed as a book illustration assignment during my Bachelor, 2014. The Tortoise and The Hare illustrated for exhibit in Paper+Pixel: an Illustrator's Australia group exhibition based on the prompt 'who is your dream client?', Collingwood Gallery, 2016.
A collection of artworks depicting the flora and fauna of the country I call home. Though I often find it hard to connect with the harsh landscape, the finer, more delicate details of its inhabitants resonate with me on an artistic and personal level and bring about a sense of grounding.
A collection of pet portraits commissioned as meaningful, personal gifts. These illustrations vary greatly in style and medium based on individual requests. Please contact via email if you would like to arrange a custom artwork.
alt+j record design
A mock-up re-design for Alt+j's album This is all yours completed during my Bachelor. The album contains recurrent lyrical reference to Nara, a place known for its abundance of deer. The composition encompasses other heavy themes including war, humanity, and heartache by tipping the portrait over to allow colour and shape to 'bleed' to the bottom of the design like blood from veins.
Selected designs used as wrapping paper and fabric yardage. Some images in this gallery contain mature content.
debut solo exhibition 'As One'
Exhibited at Off the Kerb Gallery, Collingwood, July 2016.
As One welcomes you to a world of ethological exploration. While we cannot know what it is like to be another animal, we all share an overarching fight for survival. Interwoven with fungi that, like death, can either nourish life or destroy it, these creatures invite you to look through their eyes and become one with the natural world.
Watercolour, acrylic and pen on arches hot press paper, 2016. Exhibited in OTK's 10th Birthday show, Off the Kerb Gallery, Collingwood.
The female octopus has been known to starve to death in order to guard the cave where she protects her eggs. An artwork that explores the fierceness and intensity of motherhood, along with recurrent themes of fertility, vulnerability, and the interplay of physical/behavioral traits across differing species often explored through my practice.
